How can it be prevented?


With efforts, you can help yourself in preventing the condition of being obese. Read on to know the ways to prevent obesity effectively. 

Being active is one of the ways you may prevent obesity, doing simple activities such as climbing the stairs instead of using an elevator, swimming, morning or evening walks 

Monitoring your weight regularly by weighing yourself once a week may also help you prevent obesity, because it helps you figure out if you have lost or gained weight. Also, it lets you know if you need to do more exercises and a better diet.

Drinking water is always benefit for a good health. Doctors recommend at least 8-10 glasses of water daily for detoxifying your system.

Avoiding junk food. Do not buy junk food nor fast foods. But, if you really like eating stuff like pizza and hamburgers, eat them only once or twice a month.

 Eat small portions of food and do not gulp them down. You should eat small portions of food each 2-3 hours and between each meal eat snacks, but cut off high-calorie snacks. Eat only when your body signals you to have food.

Have a balanced diet with fruits, vegetables and whole grains. Obese people should have 5 servings of low sugar fruits and vegetables a day.

And this are some of the ways you can prevent obesity and have a good health.
